Oregon - Mt. Hood

Mt. Hood SW face ----- Creek near Sandy ----- Mt. Hood NW face

We took two day to backpack our way around Mt. Hood, a total of 42 miles (ish), with changes in elevation from a low point of 3000 ft. up as high as 7400 ft.

Day 1 - Timberline Lodge / Paradise Park / Sandy River
Day 2 - Ramona Falls / Bald Mountain / Elk Cove
Day 3 - Clark Creek / Cooper Spur / Newton Creek
Day 4 - Gnarl Ridge / Mt Hood Meadows / Timberline Lodge

42 miles, 4400 feet in elevation change, 12 liters of water, 7 Clif Bars, 6 packets of oatmeal, 3 freeze-dried dinners, 1 pound of Tillamook cheese, and 1 canister of LGL later, we made it!
