B&W Prints - Metropolis & Fox

A possible, little commission job! I'm halfway through shooting these two buildings - a Midtown condo and an Atlanta icon - to get 4 unique, black and white shots of each. I plan on taking a few more to give the client more choices.

Any votes?

Welcome to Midtown

A very good friend had her baby girl 2 weeks ago.
She has the same middle name as me; that of my great uncle.
She has the same first name as my grandmother; my great uncle's sister.
She was born on the same date as my grandfather.

She's a little ahead of herself - trying to reincarnate me. My consolation for being "preincarnated" is that only I get to call her by her initials - E.D.

Every once in a while, if I work very hard, I can just barely convince myself that it can possibly be good to wake up at 6:30 AM on a Sunday.

This weekend, it turned out to be a very good thing to get up before everyone else and see the moon - setting over Midtown Atlanta at sunrise- and Spire - surreally painted in spectacular dawn colors.

Oregon - Snow

More pics from my 5-day, 45 mile Oregon backpacking trip on the Pacific Crest Trail; Day One was 80 deg - sunscreen and shortsleeves. This is from the morning of Day Five.

Oregon - Water and Ice

Had a terrific time hiking in Oregon...lots of pics...until I can catch up, here is a small taste...

The first photo is what I woke up to on the fifth day of backpacking along the PCT in the Sisters Wilderness. The second is the lower falls of Multonomah Falls in the Columbia Gorge.
